Sometimes it also lights up the airbag douse the socket on the back of your car have a switch thats operated by the flap ,lets the ecu know when a trailer is attached ,i think on our peugeot 407 ,the switch is supposed to eliminate ,the reversing sensor ,we couldnt get that to work so just live with it ,beeping when reversing the trailer ,who knows maybe the flap switch has to be activated for the ecu to recognise the towbar ecu ,pugs The most general location for a jack is in the trunk of your Citroen C4 Picasso.
